The X-387 robot probe was an alter ego of Calvin. It was from Jupiter. It was a cardboard box with a robot face drawn on it, with a hole in it for Calvin to stick his hand out.

An X-387 robot probe (Calvin) was on earth. It's mission was to gather chocolate from earth. It's scanners indicated trace amounts of chocolates in the kitchen pantry. It asked for some from Calvin's mother. When Calvin's mother refused to give the probe chocolate, the probe pulled out a dart gun and said it was going to annihilate Calvin's mother.
