Calvin has been seen using a toaster in many strips. He mainly eats his toast with Hobbes, and the toaster sometimes burns his toast, which makes this a running gag.
Trivia
- In one strip, Calvin's piece of toast was burned on one side, while the other was hardly cooked.
- In another strip, the toaster started smoking, burning Calvin's piece of toast everywhere.
