A typical snow fort scenario, 1/10/95
Calvin boasting to no avail about his fort.
Calvin often builds snow forts in winter. He will usually declare them to be impregnable fortresses, only to be struck by a snowball from Hobbes.
Calvin's only truly impenetrable fort was circular and very tall, concealing Calvin and blocking snowballs. However, Calvin presumably had to be rescued out as there was no exit built in.
He endeavored to build a giant fort as part of an elaborate plan to snowball Susie Derkins, as well as a life-size fort complete with inner wall, turreting posts and snowball stock.
