Changes: Oddities

Curious things happen in the world of Calvin and Hobbes, but the most curious incidents are the ones that they might not even know about. These can range from mispublications to colouring mistakes, but it leads the reader to think "What happened?" Unfortunately, we may not know for sure.

Take, for instance, the other cartoon from 11/28/85.

The strip from 5/23/87 that featured Calvin making ice tea was in The Essential Calvin and Hobbes, but not Something Under the Bed is Drooling.

In one strip from 3/13/88, the same strip was correctly coloured in some books and miscoloured in the rest.
And then, there is the bizzare occurance of Hobbes' reality.
There is a little-known incident. During the "Scientific Progress Goes Boink?" strips, on January 26 1990, when the duplicates and Calvin are running, a sixth of actually only five duplicates is partly seen on the page and is wearing a plain shirt.
Also, there was a strip that contained cannibalism, child labor, and adoption in the same manner, so in "The Complete Calvin And Hobbes," they change the strip to remove the adoption part.
