It's a Magical World (ISBN 0836221362) is the fourteenth Calvin and Hobbes book, as well as the eleventh printed collection.
Description[]
The collection was released in October 1996 by Andrews & McMeel. It collects the strips published from March 20 to April 2, and April 9 to December 31, 1995. The daily strips in this collection are printed slightly larger than in The Complete Calvin and Hobbes hardcover collection.
The back cover art (Calvin and Hobbes hugging) is different than that on the back cover of the third book of The Complete Calvin and Hobbes hardcover collection, the latter of which includes the other non-strip art in this collection.
The final strip[]
The final Calvin and Hobbes strip, which the "It's a Magical World" book is titled after.
The book is named after Calvin's final line in the series: "It's a magical world, Hobbes, ol' buddy...let's go exploring!"
