The Gym Instructor is a P.E. teacher at Calvin's school who appeared in a single weekday strip. He appeared as a fat, stout man with a crew cut and double chin wearing a T-shirt that read "Gym Instructor". It is unknown whether he worked alongside Mr. Lockjaw or if the latter replaced him. He told Calvin to get on the chinup bar. He seems to think Calvin is very puny and weak.
