Nebular

Galaxoid and Nebular are aliens from an unknown planet that appeared in two story arcs throughout the strip. The first time they appeared, Calvin sold them the Earth for a leaf collection (which was his school assignment). The second time they appeared, they were angry about the Earth's changing climate, which Calvin hadn't told them about.

Galaxoid and Nebular's ship can travel at light speed; taking into account the length of their round-trip between Earth and their homeworld, their planet must be a handful of light-hours away.

Appearance

Galaxoid and Nebular are green, cyclopic stumps with five tentacles for legs. They wear upturned transparent collars and pointed hats; Galaxoid's hat is adorned with a star, and Nebular's with a crescent moon.

Trivia

According to Susie, the leaves from the aliens' planet looked like weirdly cut maple leaves.
Galaxoid was not referred to by name until Calvin exclaimed in shock at their second appearance, although Nebular referred to himself by name in the duo's first appearance.
Galaxoid and Nebular claim the reason they want the Earth is "prime real estate".
Similar to Moe, the duo speak in an unusual font— squarish, computer-like letters.
