Calvin and Hobbes frequently play football. However, Hobbes usually fights with Calvin and ends up winning; this is because of Hobbes' alternate reality size. One instance of this turned into a game of chess. Football mostly occured at the beginneging of the strip. Later it was replaced by Calvin Ball.
