The florist is a very minor character who appeared in a single strip. In the 12/2 through 12/4 1986 story arc, Calvin was trying to find hideous flowers to send to Susie as a hate-mail valentine. When he entered the flower shop, he asked the florist for a valentine bouquet, and she showed him the selection. Dissatisfied with the choice, he asked the florist if she had a dumpster for him to search. Dumbfounded, she did not reply.
