Calvin was seen using a bow and arrow in two weekday strips. On both occasions, Calvin was dressed like a First Nations-person.

Calvin fired an arrow with a suction cup on the end at Hobbes. It missed, but Hobbes was angered and then he pinned Calvin to the side of his house with the arrow.

Later, Calvin fired an arrow at Susie, which missed. Then, Susie asked, "Is this yours?" to which Calvin replied, "No, what is it?" Susie then beat Calvin up, put the plunger on his nose, and left ("For a girl, she's remarkably perceptive").
