The duck is a minor alter ego of Hobbes that appeared in among the Transmogrifier Gun alter egos of the first Transmogrifier Gun story arc. Hobbes was turned into a duck out of spite by Calvin, after his twice-over failure to transmogrify the boy into a large pterodactyl as instructed.
