Dad: The Paragraph is a piece of schoolwork written by Calvin. It appeared in a single weekday strip (4/29 1992).

Role[]

Calvin had to write a paragraph on what his father did (meaning what his father's job is), but Calvin proceeds to take it literally. It is barely even a paragraph, as it only reads,

Dadtheparagraph

"Dad: The Paragraph. What does my dad do? Mostly, he gets on my nerves. The End."

After Hobbes said that he may get one point for succinctness, Calvin said, "Well what else is there to say?!". Calvin's grade on the assignment is not known, but its likely that he failed.
