The Communicating Alien is a very minor character who appeared in a single weekday strip (1/29 1988) It was saying, "Gronk! Gribble Gok! Gak Gork! Goonk!" The Communicating Alien was analogous to Susie yelling, "...well, what do you say?! Am I getting through to you?? This is important!" at Calvin because he didn't work on their report for the planet Mercury.
