Calvin and Hobbes never managed to control it to make their bed, eventually failing to do so by the end of the day. However, through their trouble, they never had to make their bed!

The Bed Making Robot was a robot which Calvin and Hobbes designed to help make their bed. It was made out of what appeared to be tinker toys for the body and appendages and a can with drawn-on features for the head. It also had a tape recorder stashed away inside it's can head that served as a voice box.
