What's on your mind?
How would it be different, besides the art style.
(above title is my question)
Yep, so Susie Derkins is the only prominent character in Calvin and Hobbes with both a first and last name -- Calvin and other kids at his school has first only, his parents are totally unnamed, and his normal teacher, phys ed teach, and principal all have only a last name. But are there any other characters, be they minor or not, with a first and last name? Tracer Bullet is the only one I can think of. I'm just wondering if there are more.
According to a Reddit thread...
"Becoming an adult is probably the dumbest thing you could ever do!"
What do you people think?
I want to be able to delete a comment I made, and I don't know how. Whether it has or has not already been posted, I find it a little annoying that it can't be deleted by the user who posted it.
Several years ago, before the publication of the first Complete C&H collection, I found a web page listing all of the 17 other books listed in this wiki (or 18 if you include Teaching) plus at least one other, of which I can now not find any mention.
This missing book was rare even then, possibly unauthorized. I believe it was published in the UK. Similar to the familiar "Collections" titles, this book featured daily and Sunday strips. Unique to this lost book, however, was that the daily strips were expertly colorized so that the entire book had the same look throughout.
Does anyone know the title of this mystery book?
16. QUESTION OF THE DAY: In a Calvin and Hobbes comic strip, Calvin stands in front of a mirror in his underwear. He flexes both arms and says: "Made in God's own image, yes sir!" What is Hobbes' reply?

Has any one ever compiled Calvin's school experiences by subject? ie - him and math, his run ins with (mostly US) history...
Orangestripes: A cowardly, evil, lazy British tiger. We were his slaves and his catchphrase was “carry me, slaves”
Smart Dog: A British “mad genius” dog
Spot: A dog that goes “woh” and each series of barks translates to a sentence. The only non-talking character
Brownspot: A wise British dog
Scruffy: A 4-year-old puppy
Emily: A female dog
Truffles: A female dog
Hal: A dog whose catchphrase is “yo, bro”
Dumb Donkey: A derpy donkey with a Southern accent
We went on dramatic adventures with them in 2009, and in 2014 we did a "final season finale". Before 2008 we also had Grampa, an elderly dog with a Southern accent.
If anyone else here did this, please give pictures, names, and descriptions.
Hello! I would like to host a avatar contest, this contest will be to create an avatar which is Calvin and Hobbes themed. The theme is winter. I have created mine, shown below. Pleaase post your photos as replies. Afterward, voting will be held.
Here is the list:
I was looking over various pages recently, and I noticed that a wide variety of tenses is used, making the wikia extremely inconsistent. I would like to standardize a past tense, something which has been done on extremely successful wikis such as TARDIS. This is a major project, and I would greatly appreciate anyone who would be willing to work to make this happen.
it has come to my attention that we have inactive bureaucrats on here, such as Brovie and Serpinium. This poll will ask your opinion of if we should demote them or not, if we reach an agreement, they will all be demoted. Please know that GammaRay's account has been disabled, and I am now the only active b-crat.
Should the bureaucrats go?
OMG NO!!! FANDOM DISABLED MY -GAMMARAY1- ACCOUNT GLOBALLY!! I DID NOTHING WRONG!!!
It has came to my attention that maybe we should change the rules a bit. I think it is too strict to just having to just talk about Calvin and Hobbes. Change it to something else so people can still talk about Calvin and Hobbes, but can talk about something else as well, because it's cruddy having to talk about Calvin and Hobbes AL THE TIME. That's just cruel. And admins should ACTUALLY study the user before blocking. Like TheRadBoy. infinty. Really? For saying F**k? (I mean, I don't care, just showing unreasonable times.) So sorry if you people hate my ideas.
Hello, C&H Fans. I just added some CSS to the wiki that allows you to make circular div boxes! They're very easy to add. Just create a
<div>element. Then add this as an attribute to it:
It should look like this in the source editor:
<div class="circle"> [Your text here] </div>
That's it! I hope you enjoy them. Yours truly,
In wiki features, you can prevent anons from editing. Unfortunately, it does not appear in this wiki's page for enabling or disabling features. The Fandom Staff might be able to enable it if I contact them. I will let this poll run for one week (ends Nov. 21) to let me know if I should contact the Staff.
